Africalia's Cultural Cooperation Platform is a professional network for dialogue and reflection with the aim of consolidating relations between players from various sectors working through culture to promote education for global citizenship and solidarity in Belgium. To this end, Africalia wishes to bring together a limited number of cultural organisations, development cooperation actors, African artists and the African diaspora in order to strengthen reflection on cultural cooperation and the role of the arts and culture in the reinvention of our societies.
In all, some fifteen players meet four times a year to discuss issues relating to the ECMS. Representatives of the seven partner cultural organisations, four representatives of the world of culture and development (RMCA, 11.11.11, CEC-ONG, Africalia) and five representatives of the Afro-descendant cultural and artistic sector in Belgium.
