52258565020_e6162756fa_o.jpgThis 11th edition of the festival featured 4 days of cultural events on the theme of protection, and more specifically the protection of the most vulnerable in our societies: children, women, the elderly and the marginalised. This notion extended to the protection of people as well as cultural property and cultural heritage.

There will also be a presentation of a book by the poet Guillaume Bukasa about the reality and discrimination suffered by people with albinism, and two exhibitions by two artists. One by Thierry VAHWERE Croco' dit TV'Croki, a Congolese visual artist, on the protection of child victims of armed groups, and the other by Neema Kasoki, who showed the hazards that young girls and women face in their lives as a result of mistreatment.

Fabien Mweze exhibited his photos of superheroes, and traditional music and percussion got the audience dancing. Theatre and slam were also part of the programme, with the mwanamke play Simama Useme by Sylvain Kasereka and slam artist Ester Abumba.
The festival closed with a concert by Roi Bayol and Bayol bande.
