The first DVD in a long series that promises to be rich in discoveries, "Afrique tous courts" brings together 10 short films that received attention at the first two editions of the Afrique taille XL festival. This innovative project was born of the joint desire of Africalia, Afrique taille XL and Studio l'Equipe to give African cinema the place it deserves, to allow these new sensibilities, these exciting artists, to titillate our emotions. The selection has been informed by the vision of filmmakers from across the African continent. The strength of these ten short films lies in their unity: funny or moving, always relevant, they reflect the diversity of African cinematographic creation. And when the final word appears, the cinematic emotion over, it is the true richness of the world that is revealed to the viewer.
