Le KVS is Brussels' city theatre. Developing an "urban dramaturgy", it welcomes the city in all its diversity and aims to strengthen its artistic voice in the arts sector. The KVS works with an open group of creators, actors, directors, choreographers and authors. From an inclusive vision of the potential of art, the KVS aspires to an intercultural, intergenerational and genre-diverse city theatre that resonates far beyond Brussels.
As part of its partnership with Africalia and its Global Citizenship and Solidarity Education programme, the KVS is forging links between North and South through the lens of urban dramaturgy. The KVS would like to open its sessions to SLOW (Slam Our World) to artists from Africa. Through workshops, meetings and synergies taking place both in Brussels and in an African capital, SLOW will offer a unique insight into these cities.
