BeGlobal, on the initiative of Enabel, is launching the SoliDARE festival aimed at young people to raise their awareness of the challenges of international solidarity.
On 24 and 25 November, Africalia will be present at the festival for a conference focusing on our work in international solidarity and the use of art as a vehicle for sustainable human development (Art for Change).
Three areas will be covered:
Section I - art as a place for reflection
Part II - Art as a means of expression and protest
Part III - Art as a job-creating industry
But also... a photo exhibition to discover " Grassroots upgraded reflections on Nairobi Eastlands" by SLUM TV.
