Africalia is launching a call for applications for Koola Kampalaa incubation program aimed at cultural and creative entrepreneurs based in Kampala, implemented jointly with The Bold Woman FundThis program aims to strengthen the cultural and creative industries in Uganda through structured business support, mentoring and skills development for cultural entrepreneurs.

Who?
This call for applications is open to cultural and creative businesses based in Kampala and run by young entrepreneurs aged 18 and over. To be eligible, entrepreneurs must run a legally registered business, have been active in the cultural and creative industries for at least one year, and already be generating revenue.
The selection process will focus on candidates' motivation and why they believe they could benefit from capacity building in business management and growth strategies. 15 to 20 companies will be shortlisted for the pre-incubation phase of the program, during which they will receive tailored individual and group support. At the end of this phase, 12 finalists will be selected for the main incubation program.
When?
The program will run for 12 months, starting in July 2025.
