Pamberi Trust is a not-for-profit organisation based in Harare. It offers its expertise to artists and producers in the performing arts, helping them to develop, promote and disseminate their creations.
Pamberi currently focuses on a number of regular programmes: the House of Hunger poetry sessions, Sistaz Open Mic, screenings of women filmmakers' creations and workshops. They also work with Music Crossroads Academy on music education and the Zimbabwe Theatre Academy on theatre education.
Arts Factory is Pamberi's ongoing project to help young and emerging semi-professionals in the arts sector who need administrative or logistical support to enhance and professionalise their value throughout the chain of stages leading up to the production of shows (from conception to creation to marketing, etc.).
Programme 2017-2021: Africalia mainly supports the activities of the Arts Factory, activities focusing on gender, poetry and slam.
