The Institut Supérieur de l'Image et du Son / Studio-Ecole (ISIS-SE), founded in 2006 and an Africalia partner since its inception, is a scientific, cultural and technical institution. ISIS-SE is a sub-regional institute for artistic and technical training and support in audiovisual professions. Students are trained by professionals and teachers from leading schools, renowned for the quality of their work.
In order to revitalise the film and audiovisual sectors in Burkina Faso, a studio-school was set up within ISIS in 2008. The studio sets up continuing education programmes, supports projects and offers cutting-edge technical services. It also enables students to benefit from the experience of professionals on site.
Programme 2017-2018: Africalia supports tuition fees for 2nd and 3rd year students, the annual organisation of two masterclasses given by African or Belgian professionals and the co-production of end-of-year films.
