The community is inclusive, hosting artists, makers, social entrepreneurs, researchers, policy makers - anyone with a curiousity for sharing, exploring, creating, and challenging norms.
Jon Stever
Jon Stever is the Founder and Managing Director of The Office and a co-founder of Impact Hub Kigali. Jon is a macroeconomist, social entrepreneur, writer, artist and community organiser. He designed Rwanda’s national climate change fund, FONERWA, and wrote Rwanda’s national debt policy, among other projects. He believes that true economic and social development is an inclusive, bottom-up process driven by innovations in culture, entrepreneurship and technology.
Maria Mayanja
Maria Mayanja is a Rwandan entrepreneur and environmental advocate. She is Co-Founder of Angaza, a Rwandan eco-brand that upcycles Kigali’s non-recyclable waste into bags. Maria is a Water and Environmental Engineering graduate and is passionate about engaging with communities in Rwanda to come up with solutions to environmentally related problems. She is also Co-Founder of Impact Hub Kigali, a coworking space, innovation hub and event space for social entrepreneurs in Rwanda.
