In October 2014, the \"Balai citoyen\" revolt led to the removal of Burkina Faso's dictator Blaise Compaor\u00e9. The rapper Serge Bambara, known as\u00a0Smockey<\/a>was among the insurgents. He is now considered to be one of the architects of this political change.\u00a0We've got time on our hands<\/em>\u00a0takes us into the everyday life of the iconic rapper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Katy L\u00e9na Ndiaye<\/strong>\u00a0is a documentary filmmaker. We owe him the two opuses\u00a0Traces Women's footprints<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Waiting for the men<\/em>\u00a0which have won awards at numerous festivals. Alongside her career as a filmmaker, Katy L\u00e9na Ndiaye has worked in television. Trained as a journalist, she presented and directed Reflets Sud and Afrique Plurielle (from 2000 to 2018), CIRTEF productions broadcast on TV5 Monde and RTBF. Since 2013, she has directed\u00a0Indigo Mood films<\/a>a production company based in Senegal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
