Launch this Monday, October 14th of the call for expressions of interest<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Africalia is launching a call for expressions of interest in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) under the Jeunesse Cr\u00e9ative project,<\/a><\/strong>an initiative coordinated by the Belgian cooperation agency ENABEL in Kinshasa. This project aims to strengthen the services of Congolese cultural operators to facilitate access for young people aged 12 to 35 to cultural and socio-cultural services and activities while promoting better economic integration of actors in the cultural sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the DRC\u2019s dynamic and rich cultural scene, its potential is set back by numerous material and symbolic challenges. The lack of intersectoral partnerships and the limited visibility of artistic works reduce culture's influence on economic and social development and restrict its vital role in promoting social cohesion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This call for expressions of interest, intended for Congolese cultural operators, aims to support several organizations in the different stages of the cultural cycle value chain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
