After two years of being held online due to the covid-19 pandemic, the organisers of the Doadoa festival were delighted to announce the return of the festival to Kampala (Uganda) on 24 and 25 May 2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initiated by Bayimba Foundation, Doadoa is a \"market festival\" dedicated to the performing arts in the East African region. It also serves as a platform for artists, festival directors, producers, managers and all stakeholders in the performing arts sector to foster connections and facilitate partnerships to stimulate growth in the performing arts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To this end, Doadoa showcases talent and organises workshops, panels and masterclasses to equip participants with the knowledge and skills they need to understand and grasp the challenges facing the industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
