TAG stands for <em>The Arts Gathering<\/em>was a mixture of performances and discussions <strong>hybrids<\/strong> In other words, both in front of a small audience - while respecting health measures - and broadcast live online. From traditional and contemporary dance to percussion concerts, exciting debates on the artist's profession in 2020 and film screenings, these two days of<strong>activities as rich as they are varied<\/strong> were orchestrated by Souka\u00efna Edom's fantastic team. Every year, this platform, co-organised with the Tebere Arts Foundation, aims to develop the professional side of the <strong>theatrical world.<\/strong> In 2020, the physical edition was replaced by <strong>virtual events<\/strong>. Firstly, a debate with renowned speakers on creative and disruptive platforms in Africa. Secondly, a broadcast of archive images from the festival on social networks, which served as a reminder of the power of theatre for the future. <strong>freedom of expression<\/strong>. The screening was followed by an online question and answer session. <a href=\"https:\/\/kampalainternationaltheatrefestival.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">You'll find all the info here<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-14461\" src=\"https:\/\/africalia.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/sans_titre_10_.png\" alt=\"sans_titre_10_.png\" align=\"insert|center\" width=\"626\" height=\"583\" srcset=\"https:\/\/africalia.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/sans_titre_10_.png 626w, https:\/\/africalia.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/sans_titre_10_-300x279.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 626px) 100vw, 626px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This was also the choice of the Congolese group <a href=\"https:\/\/africalia.be\/en\/taccems-group\/\">TACCEMS<\/a>  which organised <strong>100%<\/strong> for the tenth edition of the <strong>festival NGOMA<\/strong>from 20 to 27 September, digitally.<strong> Two strategies<\/strong> were put in place. To begin with, live shows and concerts were put on. <strong>products<\/strong> with companies and orchestras in Kisangani. In a second phase, TACCEMS collaborated with <strong>local TV channels<\/strong> to present shows by its partner companies in other towns in the DRC. Thanks to the association's efforts, the videos of the shows were able to be <strong>simultaneously <\/strong> on all partner channels. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-14462\" src=\"https:\/\/africalia.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/covid_web_17-768x512-jpg.webp\" alt=\"covid_web_17-768x512.jpg\" align=\"insert|left|largeur=300|hauteur=400\" width=\"768\" height=\"512\" srcset=\"https:\/\/africalia.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/covid_web_17-768x512-jpg.webp 768w, https:\/\/africalia.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/covid_web_17-768x512-300x200.webp 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/>Other organisations have decided to use art to <strong>raise awareness<\/strong> to barrier gestures. This is the case in the Democratic Republic of Congo, with 3TAMIS, which is targeting a <strong>lifelong civic education<\/strong> thanks to its cultural and audiovisual activities. Since September, the organisation has been producing <strong>ten video vignettes <\/strong> which it is broadcasting on social networks and its website to raise public awareness of the right social behaviour to adopt during the pandemic. The videos are in Swahili and take a different angle. <strong>humorous<\/strong> similar to that of the comedians at the Bukavu Comedy Club. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/3TAMIS\/\"
