**A few words about your artistic career
\n<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I'm a singer, composer and guitarist from Kampala, Uganda. My passion for music and the visual arts began at a very early age. I practised both disciplines and decided to merge the two in my current day-to-day work.<\/p>\n

**How long have you been an artist?
\n<\/strong><\/em>
\nI've been an artist for over 10 years and have now moved into music production and digital art.<\/p>\n

Why did you apply for this scholarship? How will the scholarship support you?<\/h3>\n

I applied for this grant because it provides a platform for African artists to showcase different disciplines in a way that allows art to speak for itself and show stories that have not yet been told and that I believe the world needs to see and hear.<\/p>\n

What are your concrete artistic objectives after this residency?<\/h3>\n

My artistic goal is to create an ecosystem that more than one artist can benefit from, because I think that's the key if we want to see growth in the industry. I'll do that with the skills I have and with people who can help build that vision.
