A few words about your artistic career <\/h3>\n

With my background in urban dance from 1998 to 2005, I trained with a number of well-known choreographers, including Laurence Levasseur, Germaine Acogny, Angelin Preljocaj, Ir\u00e8ne Tassembedo, Salia-ni-Seydou and many others. First class of professional dancer-performers after three years of intensive training at EDIT from 2009-2012.<\/p>\n

How long have you been an artist? <\/h3>\n

I fell in love with dance 15 years ago, in 1998, but since 2005 I've been training to become a professional dancer.<\/p>\n

Why did you apply for this scholarship? How will the scholarship support you? <\/h3>\n

It's a challenge, just as it is when I take part in a lot of auditions, and the distribution network that Africalia can offer my work.
\nGiven the current situation with my dates in Europe, which have been cancelled, I have to stay active and keep working.<\/p>\n

What are your concrete artistic objectives after this residency? <\/h3>\n

My aim is for the choreography I propose to be a complete creation, intended solely for this project, based on a musical style that is rarely used in contemporary choreography.<\/p>\n
