It is best known for its mass abductions of children. Because of their extreme violence, very little is known about life among these rebels. The Rebel Lives project provides a visual account of this movement and the men who make it up.<\/p>\n<p>It is based around a series of recently discovered photos taken by LRA generals. Kristof Titeca (BE, 1978), an expert in conflict situations, supplements these images with drawings, videos and documents that put the photos in context. He also travelled to Uganda with photographer Georges Senga (1983, DRC) to track down the people in the photos.
