\nThis year, the presentation of the 26th edition of FESPACO, which also marks the festival's fiftieth anniversary, takes place at 10.30 am at the Secretariat of the ACP Group of States (Avenue Georges Henri 451, 1200 Brussels - Room C). It is aimed at journalists, institutions, partners, film and audiovisual professionals and the general public.

Special FESPACO evening in Brussels<\/h2>\n

17 January 2019, 7.30pm - Cin\u00e9ma Palace<\/h3>\n\n

\nTo celebrate the festival's 50th anniversary, the special evening dedicated to African cinema will include a screening of a great classic. The film being shown is \"Hy\u00e8nes\" by Senegalese director Djibril DIOP MAMB\u00c9TY<\/strong> (1991, 110 minutes, film in Wolof, French, Japanese, French subtitles).
\n<\/br>
\n<\/br>
\nIn Colobane, the return of Lingu\u00e8re Ramatou, a local girl said to be richer than the World Bank, is announced. But her generosity will come at a price: a cheque for a hundred billion in exchange for the death of Draman Drameh, who had refused to recognise their child 30 years earlier. \"Life has made a whore of me, I want to turn the world into a brothel\", Lingu\u00e8re triumphantly asserts to the people of Colobane, whose solidarity is about to melt away like snow in the sun.<\/em>
