La Manufacture de Namur <\/h2>\n

La Manufacture de Namur is a workshop bringing together students and instructors from French-speaking film schools. The aim of the Manufacture is to help strengthen a genuine network of film schools in the French-speaking world and to encourage exchanges between students. On the programme: film lessons and various meetings giving students practical advice on how to get off to a better start as young film professionals.<\/p>\n

7 young film students aged 18 to 25 from all over the French-speaking world have been invited to take part in La Manufacture. They are supervised by Isabelle Fauvel and Hakim Mao from Initiative Film (France). These students are also members of the \u00c9mile Cantillon Jury, whose task is to award the Bayard prize for the best first feature film.<\/p>\n

Among these students, Rhachida Moussa Maiga<\/strong> (a student atISIS<\/strong><\/a> from Burkina Faso and Chad) will be taking part in the Manufacture thanks to the partnership between the FIFF and Africalia.<\/p>\n

The Namur Forum<\/h2>\n

From 28 September to 1 October, Palais des Congr\u00e8s<\/em><\/p>\n

The aim of the Namur Forum<\/strong><\/a> is to encourage the development and co-development of a project from its inception by establishing a dialogue between the co-producers, enabling them to better anticipate each other's schedules and challenges. <\/p>\n

6 feature-length fiction projects have been selected to benefit from expert advice to assess and enhance the quality and feasibility of their project in four areas: development, writing, production and sales (marketing\/distribution). The producer-writer-director pairs will present their projects at individual meetings and plenary sessions. <\/p>\n

Thanks to the support of Africalia, \"Moulaye\" (Senegal) directed by Alassane Sy, produced by Ba\u00efla Sy - Proxycom <\/strong> will be analysed by the experts.
\n<\/br> <\/p>\n\n

In the footsteps of the Atelier Grand Nord<\/h2>\n

Every year, the FIFF brings together scriptwriters and experts from France, Belgium, Quebec, Switzerland and Luxembourg for a week-long workshop devoted to rewriting scripts, a delicate but crucial stage in the development of a fiction film. <\/p>\n

Among those taking part were the scriptwriter Idrissou Mora-Kpai<\/strong> from Benin.<\/p>\n

Generation Talent!<\/h2>\n

The aim of \" Generation Talent!<\/strong><\/a> The aim of the \"Young Actors\" programme is to give around twenty young Belgian and French-speaking actors the opportunity to meet casting agents and directors (from French-speaking and Flemish-speaking Belgium, France and Quebec), and thus open up their careers internationally. The chosen actors will be auditioned by a dozen or so French-speaking casting directors and agents. <\/p>\n

Mar\u00e9me Ndiaye<\/strong>a young Senegalese actress, is one of the international actors selected.

FIFF Campus and its citizen workshops<\/h2>\n

The FIFF selects a range of short and feature-length films with strong, engaging messages for schoolchildren of all ages. After the screenings, the Festival offers a variety of events addressing the themes raised in the films. Taking the form of in-theatre debates, participatory activities, workshops or invitations to a guest speaker, these events aim to open up dialogue and develop students' critical faculties.<\/p>\n
