Bayimba organises high-quality arts festivals, provides training and workshops for emerging artists and encourages creative development.<\/p>\n<p>The foundation's programmes and activities include the Bayimba International Festival Of The Arts, Dance Week Uganda, the Kampala International Theatre Festival and the Amakula International Film Festival.<\/p>\n<p>Bayimba has also launched a number of important market-focused initiatives, such as DOADOA: a regional platform for networking and mutual learning between performing artists in East Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Bayimba Academy is its education pillar, whose mission is to advance professional arts education, with the aim of becoming a recognised and accredited technical college offering professional training to artists and cultural institutions.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the culmination of its organisational development is the Bayimba Centre.
