Atelier_graphoui_residence<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

A collective of filmmakers, an audiovisual production workshop and a centre for expression and creativity since 1979, theAtelier Graphoui<\/strong><\/a> is a veritable sound and image laboratory, active in production and training.<\/p>\n

Animated films, documentaries, audio documents, video installations, experimental films, the Atelier Graphoui supports audiovisual creations where the boundaries between content, form and genre are called into question, where language is explored and worked on in atypical\/innovative ways.<\/p>\n

As part of the partnership with Africalia and its Global Citizenship and Solidarity Education programme<\/strong>Atelier Graphoui aims to consolidate its international residencies by welcoming two African artists a year for a one- to three-month creative residency. The resulting works reveal diverse, multilingual voices and stories, each presenting challenges, questions, tensions and opportunities for connection. The residencies are accompanied by screenings or discussions with the artists, to give the public a better understanding of their stories.
