Pamberi Trust is a non-profit organisation based in Harare. Pamberi Trust exists as an enabling facility, by which all performing artists and producers of culture may develop, promote and perform their works. Pamberi Trust consists in the Book Café and the Arts Factory. Pamberi’s mission is to manage a few hundred creative events a year.

The Book Café is a lively arts hub, a community arts centre, with live music, poetry and other performances, open 6 nights a week and runs a popular café and bar. Above all, it has become a safe haven where all ethnic groups and cultures mix freely, peacefully and comfortably. The Book Café hosts many public discussions and provides premises for the Arts Factory, Pamberi Trust’s development programs.

The Arts Factory caters for young or emerging semi-professionals in the performing arts sector in need of logistical support along the full value chain of the arts (from concept to inception to marketing etc.)

Programme 2015-2016: Africalia’s main focus is on the Arts Factory’s activities.
