Missing - Adams Mensah

Missing

Adams Mensah puts himself in the head of an eleven-year-old boy who has never seen his father. Adams describes the boy's confusion, lack, hope and disappointment.

Missing is an accessible but critical performance that aims to go beyond the images that go hand in hand with the themes of migration and globalisation. Every migration has its own story. Every migration also carries a universal story.

Presentation of the project sponsors

kunstZ is an artistic incubator that uses the diversity of our society as a driving force for renewal and expansion in the performing arts.
The stories of migrants and new arrivals from all over the world form the basis of a new dramaturgy and open the audience's eyes to global reality.

Adams Adjetey Mensah is a Belgian-Ghanaian actor, director, writer and dancer. Through MissingAdams Mensah is delving deeper into his own story, and this is a logical extension of his self-taught path; where in the past he was an actor in theatrical productions, he now wants to assume his role as a creator. His underlying themes are the impact of migration, identity and representation.
