BD Kin Label, based in Kinshasa, produces comic strips. Several times a year they publish the magazines Kin Label and Amazone BD. The content ofAmazon BD is produced exclusively by women.
To help improve the dissemination and distribution of these works, Africalia supported the publication of two albums. The organisation's illustrators took part in training courses with Belgian professionals in the sector. The first album, " Congo 50 The first film, "Paul Panda Farnana, une vie oubliée" (Paul Panda Farnana, a forgotten life) was released to mark the country's 50th anniversary of independence, and was a great success. The second, "Paul Panda Farnana, une vie oubliée", is currently being made and will be released at the end of 2014.
2012-2014 programme: Africalia supports the strengthening of the associative, administrative and financial management; training in NICT, scriptwriting and drawing; magazine printing and album publishing.
